Following the footsteps of his father, here is a photographer the world needs to know about

 Hi everyone,

This is my first blog, so I wanted to give you a brief introduction and explain what I do.

I'm Santhosh, a student and photographer. That's correct, I study and work. Well, it all began when I saw my father… he is the reason I have such a deep passion for photography. He has worked in this profession for about 30 years, and that serves as ongoing encouragement for me to keep moving forward. His enthusiasm for photography inspired me to start my own business, called Vetri Photography- named after my father. I admire many experts in the area and have received training from a few of them.

After finishing my 12th grade, I planned to pursue a degree in photography, which is only offered in Chennai. However, due to COVID I was forced to return to my hometown Madurai, where I completed a Bachelor’s in Visual Communication degree. I am currently studying my Master’s in Visual Communication. You may be wondering why all of this is necessary? It is because of this journey, that I am here today; after 50+ maternity shoots, 20+ infant/newborn shoots, and so much more. This adventure has allowed me to purchase a variety of personal gadgets and cameras.

At a young age, I discovered my passion for photography and began taking images with my phone before borrowing my father's camera. On October 19, 2020, I purchased my first camera! Until now, my Canon EOS R5 is my go-to. With Rf lenses, I can now shoot fantastic photographs. It has also allowed me to experiment with other types of photography and establish my brand. This is where I'll post numerous tips and methods, as well as my journey, to take you along with me as I learn and help you learn as well.

I hope you'll follow my journey and share your views on your favourite pictures!

I look forward to future blogs from me with amazing photos and the stories behind them, as well as a few tips and techniques for taking such stunning photos.
